Canned Food Drive Results

     Dorsey School raised 1,430 pounds of canned and boxed goods for needy families in the area. That is an average of 3.62 cans per student!

These cans will travel to Fulton, MS and be combined with the donations from other schools in the district to "pack a school bus" full of canned and nonperishable goods.

Congratulations to Ms Cates 5th Grade Class for building the largest can tower in school. The tower spanned a massive 98 inches tall! Her class won a pizza party courtesy of Student Council.
